This is Home Assistant Daily for January 13th, 2026.
Six pull requests merged yesterday with multiple dependency updates. Mettolen merged an update to pump pysaunum to version 0.2.0, introducing a factory method for client creation and minor bug fixes across the Saunum integration. Bdraco bumped aiodns to version 4.0.0 with no expected breaking changes for Home Assistant users.
Daniel Hjelseth Høyer merged improved rate limiting handling for the Tibber integration to prevent API throttling issues. Erwin Douna updated pytado to version 0.18.16 for Tado thermostat support. Brett Adams added error catching for migration failures in the Teslemetry integration, routing failed migrations to reauthentication instead of causing startup loops.
Mattreim added support for the IKEA RODRET wireless dimmer model ID in the deCONZ integration. Additional commits included EasyEnergy dependency updates and improved error messaging for Telegram bot polling failures.
What's next: The development team continues focusing on dependency maintenance and integration stability improvements. Several integrations received robustness upgrades to handle edge cases and API changes more gracefully.
That's your Home Assistant Daily update.
