Yesterday's development activity brought several notable feature additions and infrastructure improvements. Michael Toscano merged a new Apple TV integration feature that adds a binary sensor to detect when the onscreen keyboard is focused for input. This enhancement works alongside other Apple TV improvements currently in development.

Erik Montnemery contributed device tracker conditions, adding new automation triggers for home and away states. The same developer also reverted the deprecation of the server_host configuration flag for container installations, addressing compatibility concerns raised by the community.

Fredrik Mårtensson expanded Tuya integration support by adding entities specifically for pet feeders, including binary sensors and light controls. In a separate enhancement, abelyliu implemented delta report type support for Tuya sensors, which properly handles energy consumption reporting for devices that send incremental values rather than cumulative totals.

Paul Tarjan improved the Hikvision integration with better error handling for NVR event fetching and created a base entity class to reduce code duplication. Thomas updated the Google Air Quality integration to use proper device classes for nitrogen oxide measurements.

Several dependency updates were merged, including bumps to uv 0.9.26, music-assistant-client 1.3.3, python-xbox 0.1.3, opower 0.16.5, and xiaomi-ble 1.6.0. Additionally, tr4nt0r added a helpful configuration note to the PlayStation Network integration warning users not to log out of the PlayStation website, which can invalidate authentication tokens.

What's next: Template binary sensor platform updates are progressing with new framework adoption. Additional Apple TV keyboard functionality is expected in related pull requests.
