Good morning. This is your Frigate NVR update for Monday, January 13th, 2026.
Two pull requests merged over the weekend. Dermot Duffy merged a fix for API filtering when requesting reviewed items. The bug prevented the filter from working correctly when users specifically asked for reviewed content rather than unreviewed. The fix adds proper filter application and includes additional test coverage to prevent regression.
Blake Blackshear merged changes to prevent Cloudflare Pages from being indexed by Google. The update adds headers to block search engine crawling of documentation preview sites, including the main pages.dev domain and development documentation.
Both changes represent maintenance work - one fixing a functional bug in the review API, the other addressing documentation site management. The API fix required updates across four files including new test cases, while the indexing prevention was a simple header configuration change.
Looking ahead: the API filtering fix should improve user experience when browsing reviewed events, and the documentation indexing changes will keep preview sites out of search results.
That's your Frigate update. We'll be back tomorrow with more development news.
