Hello, it's October 1st, 2026, and this is your RuView briefing.

The big pattern today is trust in reported data, with merged sensing fixes correcting inflated counts and a cluster of open harness fixes aimed at leaks, leftovers, and misleading passes.

First, sensors get more honest. PR 2060 fixes room occupancy where a stale node count of three could override a fresh count of one, by applying the same strict ten-second freshness rule to per-node counts, room contributors and fallback, and computing the count after classification so live and published outputs…

Second, the test and runtime harness gets harder to fool or break. PR 2066 reuses existing redaction to strip full credential values like quoted passwords, cookie headers and key-shaped blocks from child output. PR 2065 puts cancelled host processes in their own process group so timeouts and cancellations terminate…

Finally, platform scope expands. Open PR 2062 proposes the npm surface, with a WebAssembly kernel plus native backend behind one JSON interface, alongside flashing with checksum, training, doctor checks and device plus secure shell host access, covered by A-D-Rs 368 through 374, all still proposed.
