Good morning, it's Saturday, October 17th, 2026, and this is Navidrome Daily.

No single sweeping change today — three separate items — but the highest-impact fix is about keeping track identities stable when files move.

First, scanner reliability, in PR 6347. The move detector only treated a newly seen file as a move candidate if its creation time was strictly after the scan start time. Both timestamps come from the system clock seconds apart, and on Windows with its coarse 15 millisecond clock they often land on the exact same…

Second, Last dot F M integration, in PR 6345. When quote sync favorites to Last dot F M end quote is enabled, a favorited track is now marked as loved on Last dot F M after it scrobbles successfully. It's off by default, the toggle stays disabled until the Last dot F M account is linked, non-favorited tracks are…

Finally, housekeeping. PR 6346, merged as commit a 45 a d b b, moves the Docker pulls badge and the development image tag to the navidrome slash navidrome namespace.

What's next: if you maintain Windows libraries, watch rescan behavior for missing duplicates, and if you script against the old development image name, update your references.
