Good morning, this is Home Assistant Daily for February 13th, 2026.

Patrick Vorgers merged the IDrive E2 backup provider integration, adding S3-compatible cloud backup functionality after extensive review with 28 comments. This addresses feature request 39042 and adds nearly 2,000 lines of new code across 18 files.

Kevin Eifinger expanded the Google Travel Time integration with two new services - get_travel_times and get_transit_times - following patterns from similar integrations. The update adds 952 lines across 12 files including new service definitions and icons.

Matthias Alphart added KNX time server configuration support through the UI, allowing users to configure periodic time broadcasting without YAML configuration. This required changes to 24 files and adds websocket support.

Samuel Xiao added Switchbot Cloud support for the new AI Art Frame device, expanding the integration's device compatibility with button controls and image platform support.

Several integrations received significant improvements. Manu increased Xbox integration test coverage with 642 new lines of tests and code quality improvements. Johan Zander implemented automatic migration for Growatt Server entries with default plant IDs. Michael optimized FRITZ!Box tools by caching GET API calls to reduce network requests.

Additional updates include energy sensor support for Sunricher DALI devices, enhanced LG soundbar media controls with play/pause and track information, and the ZHA integration bump to version 0.0.90 addressing ten linked issues.

What's next: Several integrations achieved quality improvements, with Immich reaching platinum status. Code cleanup and test optimization continue across multiple platforms.

That's your Home Assistant development update. Back tomorrow with more updates from the core repository.
