Good morning. This is your RuView weekly recap for May 17th through 24th, 2026.
Twenty merged pull requests and thirty additional commits this week, marking one of our most productive development cycles to date.
**Features**
The headline feature is our Home Assistant integration landing in PR 778. This implements ADR-115 with MQTT auto-discovery, shipping 21 entity types per node including 11 raw signals and 10 semantic primitives. The integration includes Matter Bridge scaffolding, privacy mode for biometric data protection, and 8 starter Home Assistant blueprints with Lovelace dashboards.
PR 764 delivered our ESP32-C6 firmware extension under ADR-110, achieving 99.56% cross-board reception with 104.1 microsecond smoothed offset standard deviation. This enables Wi-Fi 6, 802.15.4, and Target Wake Time capabilities across four firmware releases.
We've also begun work on cog-ha-matter through ADR-116, creating a Cognitum Seed-native package with embedded MQTT broker capabilities, mDNS service advertisement, and Ed25519 witness chains for regulated deployments.
**Fixes**
Security improvements dominated our maintenance work. PR 769 addressed multiple RUSTSEC vulnerabilities, upgrading OpenSSL to version 0.10.78 to fix CVE-2026-41676. We achieved zero Clippy warnings across all 35 crates and added comprehensive security audit configurations.
PR 773 resolved critical UI issues in our visualization interface, fixing Three.js OrbitControls imports, WebSocket URL routing, and toast notification initialization that had broken the viz.html interface.
**Research and Documentation**
Our autonomous SOTA research loop produced exceptional output this week. PR 744 organized 46 research demonstrations into 9 thematic folders covering physics fundamentals through quantum sensing integration.
The research sprint generated 8 exotic vertical applications including wildlife monitoring, maritime sensing, disaster response, agricultural livestock tracking, and quantum sensing integration. Notable outputs include ADR-114 for quantum-augmented vital signs and a complete production roadmap mapping 3,500 lines of code across 25 person-weeks.
PR 747 closed our research loop with 19 research threads, 7 new ADRs, and 22 NumPy demonstrations spanning industrial safety, healthcare, and quantum-classical sensor fusion.
Next week, we expect continued iteration on the Home Assistant integration based on community feedback, and progression of our cog-ha-matter implementation through its planned development phases.
