Good morning. This is RuView for May 22nd, 2026.
Yesterday saw intense research activity with 20 merged pull requests spanning RF biometric sensing, antenna placement, and privacy frameworks.
Ruvnet merged several key research findings. PR 717 catalogued five environment-invariant biometric primitives including gait stride frequency and breathing rate, each providing 4-7 bits of discriminability across rooms. PR 732 closed the pose-aware closed loop work, achieving a 9.36x intruder detection lift by suppressing subject-motion noise by 20x.
The antenna placement research concluded with PR 730, demonstrating that 5 anchors provide 100% coverage for households of 1-4 occupants when using chest-centric positioning. Earlier work in PR 724 revealed that ceiling-only antenna placement fails completely, while mixed-height configurations achieve optimal coverage.
Cross-room identification saw progress in PR 729, where physics-informed environment subtraction at the embedding level matched oracle performance without requiring labels. PR 715 established that MERIDIAN environment removal closes the 30 percentage point gap in cross-room re-identification accuracy.
Privacy and federation frameworks advanced significantly. ADR-105 through ADR-108 established a complete chain covering differential privacy with biometric primitive isolation, secure aggregation, and post-quantum key exchange using Kyber-768.
Additional commits included MCP server tooling, validation schema improvements, and real inference wiring through cog health subcommands.
What's next: Multi-room validation of cross-room re-identification and production deployment of the chest-centric N=5 antenna placement recipe for vital signs applications.
That's RuView for May 22nd. Back tomorrow.
