Hello, and welcome to Godot Daily for October 10th, 2026.

The lead story is correctness with less weight — rendering drivers are getting stricter state handling while release binaries are getting smaller, and export workflows are getting more predictable.

First, graphics. PR 123471 fixes two Metal state bugs where disabled depth bias leaked from the previous pipeline, and blend constants were applied to pipelines that didn't declare them, while also cutting unnecessary API calls to reduce CPU use. An open follow-up, PR 124341, would fix a related cache invalidation…

Second, platforms and exports. PR 119708 adds an architecture selector for macOS exports, defaulting to universal, and extracts the requested architecture from templates and extensions. For PC, PR 114924 lets Linux and Windows exports bundle debug symbol files, while PR 122764 extends the crash handler to find them.…

Finally, gameplay and editor polish. PR 124315 fixes a CharacterBody 3D performance issue by no longer expanding bounding boxes for motion unless continuous collision is on. Editor fixes include camera snapping in PR 124175 and help navigation in PR 124100.

What's next: test Metal and Compatibility changes…
