Welcome to Agora Next Updates for the week of February 22nd through March 1st, 2026.
Four pull requests were merged with four additional commits this week, focusing primarily on user interface improvements and branding updates.
Starting with features, Pedro Fernandes delivered the most substantial change with raw markdown input functionality. This 424-line addition spans ten files, introducing new unpublished topic handling, enhanced markdown textarea inputs, and improved forum article rendering. The update includes a new UnpublishedTopicGate component and significant refactoring of the markdown processing pipeline.
On the design front, Aarna Arora fixed optimistic standard proposal design issues, modifying over 500 lines in the OptimisticTieredProposalVotesCard component. This addresses user interface inconsistencies in the proposal voting interface.
Logo updates dominated the infrastructure changes this week. Sabrina initially updated logos for Towns and Syndicate organizations, converting Towns from SVG to PNG format and streamlining the Syndicate logo. However, Jeff quickly followed with a revert and redo of the Uniswap logo specifically, suggesting the initial changes had unintended consequences for that tenant.
The logo work highlights the multi-tenant nature of the Agora platform, with separate branding configurations for Uniswap, Towns, and Syndicate organizations. These changes touched both asset files and tenant configuration modules.
The raw markdown input feature represents a significant functionality expansion, allowing users more direct control over content formatting in forum posts and proposals. The extensive file changes suggest this wasn't just a simple text input addition, but a comprehensive overhaul of how the platform handles user-generated content.
Looking ahead, the team appears focused on interface refinements and tenant customization capabilities. The quick logo revision cycle indicates active stakeholder feedback and rapid iteration on branding elements.
That's your Agora Next development update for this week.
