Good morning, it's Sunday, October 11th, 2026.
The dominant signal is silent divergence — several commands that change state on the primary but never reach replicas, the A O F, or a migration destination.
First, propagation gaps. In PR 15930, XCLAIM and X AUTOCLAIM create a new consumer before scanning, but when nothing is claimed, nothing naming that consumer is propagated, so the consumer exists only on the primary. The same pattern drives PR 15933, where VADD on an existing vector set element updates the vector…
Second, durability reporting. PR 15931 addresses RDB saves and AOF rewrites reporting success after a failed flush, because the buffered flush result was not checked while the surrounding writes were. PR 15932 narrows AOF manifest handling so a directory sync failure after the rename does not roll back an otherwise…
Finally, the one merged change, commit 7939a8b, fixes crashes when a module background thread holding the global lock runs commands touching IO thread clients, by allowing that thread to pause IO threads instead of tripping an assertion. If you ship modules, test with IO threads enabled above one.
Also noteworthy is a fix to make SORT BY ALPHA deterministic…
