Good morning, you're listening to Openharness Daily for Saturday, October 3rd, 2026.
The lead today: the Agro team spent the day deleting, not building, stripping out whole subsystems that no longer run but were still costing attention.
First theme is retirement of dead weight. As evidence, PRs 1272 and 1266 retire the eval runner, its scheduled checks, results ledger and old experiment data, after nothing in CI or runtime was executing them. Related work in PRs 1279 and 1270 removes the frozen knowledge tree and wiki skill, and moves the few real…
Second theme is one docs source with checks. PRs 1284 and 1268 cut ties to the separate web repository, making the docs folder here the only place agents update. PR 1281 then trims the surviving onboarding and harness guides to actual operator journeys, and PR 1286 adds an automated docs reference test that fails…
Finally, small reliability fixes. PR 1274 routes the Hermes smoke check through the current installer launcher, fixing the compatibility job that was failing on development. PR 1287 trims padding from three low-density skills without losing instructions, and PR 1291 adds coverage tooling and records a baseline.
