Good morning, it's Monday, October twenty-sixth, twenty twenty-six.

Our top story: a single large vault could lock up the entire app during Dataview J S execution, and the fix puts a hard bound on what gets sent to scripts.

In commit A E 5 E B A 0, the team traced the freeze to snapshot size. A sixteen thousand page vault produced a three hundred ninety-seven megabyte run snapshot, with three hundred eighty-one megabytes from tasks and lists alone. That payload was cloned through inter-process communication into the renderer, then…

That tradeoff leads directly to the second change, in commit 3 A 5 E B B 1. The snapshot now carries a record of which pages had lists omitted, checked by the sandbox protocol, and the block surfaces a one-line note. So if your script sees an empty task list on a huge page, it is no longer a silent surprise. The A P…

What's next: expect Dataview J S scripts to handle missing list data gracefully, and watch for follow-up tuning to that budget or messaging if large-vault testing surfaces gaps.

That's it for today from Maestro Daily.
