Yesterday's activity was small but focused, with no broad refactor, just two corrections to keep the entry display from misleading you.

The highest-impact change is merged: the D O I lookup progress indicator now survives entry switches, in PR 17223. Previously, the entry editor rebuilt its field editors on every switch, so if you started a lookup, moved to another entry and came back, you saw the idle magnifier as if nothing was running. It…

The second fix addresses a different kind of misleading display: readability in dark mode, in PR 17347. The BibTeX source dialog opened from the Citations tab had lost its theme-aware background, making the source hard to read under a dark theme.
