Good morning, this is Home Assistant Daily for Monday, May 13th, 2026.
Today we saw significant activity with 20 merged pull requests and 30 additional commits focused on new integrations and stability improvements.
Markus Tuominen merged a complete integration for the Ouman EH-800 heating controller, adding comprehensive support for Finnish heating systems with over 3,400 lines of new code. Zhangluofeng added the Xthings Cloud integration with light control capabilities, contributing 1,512 lines across 25 files.
Tronikos enhanced the Nest integration by adding a new nest.set_fan_timer service action, giving users direct control over HVAC fan timing. This required updates to climate controls and extensive testing with 191 new test lines.
Several critical fixes were implemented. Jan Bouwhuis resolved duplicate doorbell events in the Alexa integration when entities become unavailable, and jeeftor fixed empty observations in the WeatherFlow Cloud integration.
